The Landscape of The White Church & The American Nation:

A Conversation in Many Parts

Potluck & Panel Presentation | Sun. May 17 | 12 PM | Linder Hall | Learn More

Uncomfortable with the idea of politics in the church? The reality is, they’re already intertwined—and they always have been.

Join us for a series of learning opportunities exploring how Christianity and American exceptionalism have shaped a distinct White Christian expression that continues to influence spiritual life, civic engagement, and definitions of community across the United States.

We start with a potluck lunch and panel presentation on Sun. May 17. Then, beginning Sunday, May 31, 10:30-11:30 AM, Dr. Karl Martin, Ph.D. will lead several in-person classes for deeper exploration. An additional series of recorded conversations with Dr. Karl and Revs. Trudy, Hannah, and Brittany will also be available for independent study and conversations within your own small groups. Watch for more information!

Have a story or question about this topic? We’d love to hear from you. You can submit it anonymously through our website.

Thank You From Interfaith Shelter Network

It takes a lot of support to do a two-week rotation for Interfaith Shelter Network and we're so grateful with how our community came together to make it happen. Many acts, both seen and unseen, went into the planning and smooth operation. The guests stated they really felt welcomed from all people involved, with several leaving behind notes expressing their gratitude. So, THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, donors, pastors, and staff for your generosity of time, talent, and resources!

Thank You From United Women in Faith

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who brought — and bought — baked goods at the Palm Sunday Bake Sale! Your support helped us surpass our fundraising goal, enabling donations to charities including New Entra Casa, Neighborhood House, Just in Time for Foster Youth, The Children’s Growing Center, Christ Ministry Center, the Good Samaritan Store, No Birthday Left Behind, and more. Interested in joining our chapter or learning more?
