ah there is Audrey again. I used her once before when discussing friluftsliv (remember that word... some of you will need it in the future.. hint hint) and, well, I think she works so perfectly when discussing Après Ski too! A little Audrey makes everything better.

Après Ski Idea! How this came to be I am not entirely certain. I do remember Matt one afternoon many weeks ago, suggesting that we make Adirondack Chairs. And then from there.. Après Ski was born! Neither of us ski, but we both really love everything else that goes along with it. The warm fun parts that is. The beautiful scenery, being outdoors, enjoying hot food and tasty drink even when it is knee slapping freezing cold outside. Something about the whole setting is just so darn comforting.

We can't bring the mountain to you, but we can bring the dining experience! For the winter months we thought it would be fun to serve hearty, one pot, cozy soul warming food whilst you settle yourself in one of our house made Adirondack Chairs! The thought being, it can be awfully cold to sit outside for a 3 course meal, so we make the dining a bit shorter to help stave off the chill, but just as warm and delicious. No tables really, except for a small little bit of a thing to hold your drink, just what you can hold in your
hand and place on your arm rest.

Ian, one of our friends and trusty purveyor of all things quaffable, has given us some great suggestions for Alpine amari and we are so delighted to share them with you. Available by the 1 ounce and 2 ounce and as a flight! A sip of some of these beauties and you will think you are right
in the thick of a pine forest.
Plus beer and wine and Apres Ski cocktails, the only thing you will be missing is the mountain.

Matt has had a lot of fun researching cookbooks from the Alps and has made some truly winter warming one pot dishes. You can even enjoy one while waiting to have food cooked from our online take out menu
 to take home for later.
  • *
ALSO! To capture the winter sunshine, on Saturday afternoons starting this Saturday we will have Apres Ski outdoor dining available from noon - 7:00pm!
*
Hit the Hope Street slope of fantastic merchants, stroll briskly up and down Blackstone Boulevard Pass, and then come and relax with us.
*

We will ONLY have CHAIRS outside for Apres Ski and we ONLY have 8 CHAIRS.
*
Reservations are for CHAIRS ONLY

HAM JAM!
Does anyone remember Ham Jam? It was a coming together of music makers and food lovers, which turned out to be one of the best creations we ever made.  Ah.. such fond memories we have of putting on those shows, soaking up the excitement and energy that comes with playing music with incredible people. Well, a certain amazing person, with help from other amazing people, has put together a CD of one of the shows and is donating the proceeds to a Restaurant Relief Fund for hospitality workers! Such a kind and beautiful gesture for a time when kindness is the most precious gift one can give and receive. Even if you never went to a show, I think you will love this recording, the music is fun and live and brilliant, and if you did go, you will love all the memories it will surely muster up. We are already scheming for a comeback show😊
