Friday 4/2 Special: Randy's Lessons in Leadership at Cedar Cove - Join Zoom
On Friday, at 8:30am - Lessons in Leadership will close out the week with a roar!
This week we are moving Lessons in Leadership to Friday, April 2nd to broadcast live from Cedar Cove Feline Conservatory.
A dream born in the jungles of Vietnam during war became a reality later in the town of Louisburg, as Bill Pottorff founded his big cat conservatory. Today, Steve Klein leads the board and a team of volunteers who continue fulfilling Mr. Pottorff's dream to educate the public and care for large cats.
Cedar Cove is not a "zoo," and it is not "Tiger King," but is a safe home for cats that have been abused, mistreated, or placed in the wrong environment. As you tour the park, you hear the volunteers speak about building trust with animals that have been through trauma, and how they help them be their very best. That sounds a lot like leadership!
We will talk with Steve about building trust, following a dream, and fulfilling a purpose, and all the ways we can apply those principles to our businesses and our communities.
You can learn more about Cedar Cove at http://www.saveoursiberians.org/index.php/home.html
