C & G Strategies Delivers!

Late last month, the Commonwealth Financing Authority approved 244 new projects awarding more than $105.6 million for efforts that improve the quality of life for Pennsylvanians. C & G clients were awarded approximately $1.86 million in that long list. We’re thrilled to see this support for their various projects and look forward to their continued success.

What's New

The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has opened the application period for its Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF). The program provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation. Financial assistance is provided to improve public transportation assets that enhance communities, pedestrian safety, and transit revitalization. Eligible applications include municipalities, businesses, economic development organizations and others. The deadline to apply is July 31, 2024. Learn more on the MTF page.

The COVID-19 ARPA PA Multi-Purpose Community Facilities program deadline is approaching quickly with applications accepted through April 20, 2024. Funding is being used for community projects that construct, acquire, or improve facilities that are or will be open to the public and directly enable work, education, and health monitoring. On the heels of the recent flooding in the region, the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Flood Mitigation Program remains a resource for projects assisting with flood mitigation. Applications are accepted through May 31, 2024, and more information is available on the CFA website.

And as we look to the spring, being outside is on everyone’s mind. The CFA has also opened the application period for the Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program which provides funds of up to $250,000 for planning, acquisition, development, rehabilitation and repair of greenways, recreational trails, open space, parks and beautification projects. The deadline is May 31, 2024 and, again, more information is available on the CFA website.
