Three Spiritual Festivals - 2018
It is time to start thinking about the three Spiritual Festivals that are coming, each one marked by a full moon. Master Choa Kok Sui taught
that the flow of spiritual energies reaches a peak during a full moon period. At these times we can - particularly as a group - touch spiritual realities and energies that are normally not so easily available.
Each year the annual cycle of full moons reaches its highest point in the triple sequence of the Easter Festival, the Wesak Festival, and the Festival of Goodwill. The Easter and Wesak festivals celebrate the lives and inspiration of two of the greatest spiritual leaders - the Lord Christ and the Lord Buddha.
Easter
is the festival of the resurrection of the living Lord Christ, the expression of the Love of God. This festival awakens the Christ Nature in all of humanity. Easter is determined by the date of the full moon of Aries and is the great Western and Christian Festival.
Wesak
is the festival of the Lord Buddha, the expression of the Wisdom of God. the embodiment of Light and "the indicator of Divine Purpose
".
Wesak is determined by the date of the full moon of Taurus and is the great Eastern celebration.
The Festival of Humanity
is the festival of our basic aspiration towards human and spiritual unity. It gives voice to a deep invocative appeal to the spiritual Hierarchy for Light, Love and the Will-to-Good, celebrating humanity's innate goodwill. The Festival of Humanity is determined by the date of the full moon of Gemini.
We can begin to ready ourselves by starting or joining an existing group for meditation and preparing ourselves for these powerful times. This helps us to become even better vessels for the energy of Good Will, Peace and Love to flow through us and to the earth. Celebrating these triple full moons enables us to receive, anchor and radiate the Divine Blessings and Consecrations of the Higher Ones to all of humanity.
Many of us at Pranic Healing of San Diego will celebrate Easter to experience the glorious Outpourings of the living Lord Christ on April 1st at our favorite Christian gatherings. In addition, Pranic Healing of San Diego will celebrate Wesak at our Center to experience the divine Outpourings of the living Lord Buddha on Sunday, April 29th. These outpourings begin at 5:58 pm and will last for 8 minutes.
We invite you to join us in the Wesak full moon meditation from 5:00 pm-7:30 pm at our Center, 741 Garden View Court, Ste. #204, Encinitas, CA 92024, located on the CIHS campus. The program will include meditation prior to the eight minutes of the Buddhic Blessings, followed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui leading us in a Meditation of Twin Hearts to bless the entire world. | April 5th and 19th Always the First & Third Thursday Meditation on Twin Hearts is an advanced meditation technique aimed at achieving illumination or universal consciousness. It is also an instrument of world and community service that eventually harmonizes the earth by blessing it with loving-kindness, peace, joy and goodwill. Please arrive by 6:45 pm for a brief introduction. Promptly at 7:00 pm, the doors will be shut and we will begin with some light physical exercises. Master Choa Kok Sui will guide us in blessing the earth with the Meditation on Twin Hearts which lasts about 30-45 minutes. Arhatic Yoga Meditations are powerful meditations that rapidly and safely accelerate the spiritual development of the practitioner. "Arhatic" derives from the word "arhat", which means "a highly evolved being." An Arhat is one who through diligent practice of yogic techniques and purposeful character building has overcome the impurities of desire and will. Please arrive by 8:45am for energy purifying physical and breathing exercises. We will then begin our meditation at 9:00 am or shortly thereafter which will include one of Master Choa Kok Sui's guided Arhatic Meditations.
