The First Full-Scale Daffodil Festival Since 2019 Begins Tomorrow!
A Special Traffic Message

Please be aware that Main Street traffic will detour between Martin Street and Cary Avenue for the duration of the Daffodil Festival. During the parade on Saturday, April 2nd, from approximately 9:55-11:30 a.m., all vehicle traffic on Main Street will be suspended as road closures will be in effect on Main Street for all thru traffic. During the parade, traffic will still be able to proceed onto John Clayton Memorial Highway towards Mathews County and off of JCMH, if turning left towards Walmart.

The Gloucester Sheriff's Office will be onsite providing traffic control and event security throughout this weekend's event. Please expect delays, and if you live within the courthouse area, please plan accordingly. Main Street will be completely open at 7 p.m. on April 3rd. We are anticipating significant pedestrian traffic on Main Street, particularly in the Colonial Court Circle area, so please drive safely!
