Now is the time to register for the 2022 NACCC Annual Meeting and Conference! Saturday and Sunday will offer opportunities for learning, sharing, and worship. On Monday and Tuesday, we will conduct our business, engage in fellowship, plus continue learning and worshiping. After two years apart, it will be a deep and abiding joy to meet together. Our time together is always a great blessing, enriching our souls, enlivening our spirits, and stretching our brains.

We hope you will be able to join us, either in person or virtually, for this year's Annual Meeting and Conference. Registrations are due on May 20, so please register soon!

Aspirational Budget

As in the past, the Board of Directors (BoD) will be presenting a budget for approval by the delegates at the Annual Meeting in Wichita. However the method of developing this year’s budget is something new. Last fall the BoD approved a trial run of an aspirational budget process. Instead of offering a fixed revenue amount and asking ministry councils to work within those predetermined limits, we asked those councils to dream and consider possibilities rather than numbers. The BoD, through our Finance Committee and with the help of the Congregational Foundation, then did its best to find funding for those creative requests.
 
It is our hope that this kind of process will encourage positive contemplation and open the doors for future innovation. We know that the concerns of our churches require new ways of thinking and we want to find the best paths to support plans that respond to those ways.
Responding to the Needs of the Day

The world faces uncertain times, with a pandemic still among us and war raging in Europe. As illness and the ravages of war strike, there is great need for assistance in our communities and throughout the world.

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

The Congregational Foundation is responding to the needs of the day. In our recently-approved budget we increased Foundation support for NACCC activities, including the Missions & Outreach Ministry Council. The Foundation Board is also in the early stages of planning new fundraising to meet the future needs of the NACCC, our member churches, and our troubled world.
