We Did It!

We blew right past the $15,000 goal! We raised a total of $18,565 which will be used to pay down our mortgage! Way to go Hope Community Church!

Charlene and Richard Reinhard would like to thank everyone for their prayers and cards they received during Richard's illness. He is on the mend and they hope to be back worshiping with us soon!

Shining Light Presentation

Sunday, April 24th during the service

Kelly Enck, Production Director of Shining Light Ministries (and daughter of Bob and Cindy Roth), will be sharing about Shining Light and their prison ministry. She will also be bringing guests who will share their stories and talents.

Food Pantry Representative Needed

Sharon Shaughnessy is stepping down as our representative to the Lowhill Food Pantry. We are looking for someone to attend the committee meetings at the Pantry, let us know about items that are needed, and possibly take donations to the pantry the 3rd Tuesday morning of each month. The meetings are held at 1:00 pm on Tuesdays of every other month. Please contact Sharon Shaughnessy (484-661-5438) for more information.

Presidential Primary Election

Tuesday, April 26th

We are the polling place for Weisenberg Township. We want to honor our guests and are asking for donations of cookies and hospitality volunteers to work 2 hour shifts from 10 am to 8 pm.

Since it is the presidential primary, there will be more voters, so we will need a lot of cookies! The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board next to the Connection Table. See Pat Russiano for more information (610-336-4318).

Anna is in the beginning stages of dementia. Pray for guidance for the family.

Pray for safety and effectiveness in upcoming trips to our international churches: Randy Sizemore, Carlos Kelly and Bishop Hill go to Mexico, March 28- April 4; Randy and Bishop Hill travel to Northeast India, April 20-28.
