A Message from the Athletic Director:

Dear Carondelet Community,

As we enter the home stretch of the academic school year and I reflect on my first year as your Athletic Director, I am overwhelmed by the dedication and historic success that defined the last eight months of Carondelet athletics.

Our Cougars dominated across the region, capturing East Bay Athletic League championships in Golf, Water Polo, and Soccer, and NCS titles in Golf, Water Polo, Volleyball, and Basketball. A standout moment was our Basketball team’s NCS victory over rival SRV, proving the power of our student-athletes' grit. At the regional level, our Water Polo team was crowned CIF NorCal champions, while the Golf team advanced to the CIF State Championships.

We also made history with the inaugural year of Flag Football and a thrilling victory in the first-ever Girls Single School Rugby 15s Championship against powerhouse Bishop O'Dowd. Cross Country and Track & Field delivered record-breaking individual event competitions and an individual 1st-place Championship State Title.

The strength of our athletic program is reflected in the 23 athletes who are committing to play at the collegiate level. It is an honor to be part of this vibrant athletic community. As the year is not yet complete, we look forward to what our spring sports teams will achieve in the postseason.

Thank you to all our Carondelet community members for supporting our athletes and making this a record-breaking year to remember.

Go Cougars!

Updates from the Deans

2026–27 Parking Permit Requests

Parking permit request links will be available starting Tuesday, April 14. The links will close on Friday, April 17. Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate all student drivers.

Priority is given in the following order:

  1. Seniors
  2. Juniors with carpools
  3. Juniors driving individually

Please carefully review the instructions on the parking page to ensure your student follows the correct process. Additionally, parking permit request links will only accept submissions from Carondelet student email accounts.

Parking on Campus

Please note and discuss with your student driver(s) that all campus parking spaces are reserved by a parking permit, and visitor parking is not for student usage.

Countdown to the End of School!

Don’t Want to Freak Anyone Out, But… 😅

We come back from Easter Break with just 7 weeks left in the school year. That means:

  • 📚 6 weeks until finals
  • 📝 3 weeks until AP exams begin
  • 📊 2 weeks until the next progress report

So yes… time is flying ✈️

The good news? This is where momentum kicks in. Small efforts now = big wins later. Stay organized, ask for help when you need it, and keep your eye on the finish line.

We’ve got this—let’s finish strong 💪✨

College Counseling

Seniors:

  • Please continue to update Maia with your college decisions as you receive them. This is helpful information as we start to talk with juniors about college lists. Once you have decided which college you will attend, make sure to complete these steps so that your final transcript is sent and your college is listed in the graduation program.

Juniors:

  • Parents and Guardians, please take a moment to complete the Parent Survey in Maia. Your input is very helpful when College Counselors write letters of recommendation for your child. If you can’t remember how to log in, click Forgot Password and follow the prompts.
  • College Countdown for Parents and Guardians of juniors will be held on Wednesday, April 15, from 5:00 to 6:15 PM on Zoom. Parents play a crucial role in the college application process, and we want to ensure you have the information needed to support your student through every aspect of what's to come. In this webinar, College Counselors will cover key timelines, expectations, and tips for the months ahead. We strongly encourage parents to attend the webinar. Both sessions will cover the same material, so you only need to attend one. Register now for Wednesday, April 15.
  • Save the Date! There is a mandatory Cougar U College Workshop on Wednesday, April 15, from 1:40 to 2:50 PM. Students will learn about the Activities List section in college applications and begin working on it.
  • You can still sign up for the next session of College Kickstart on June 1–4. Students will work on college essays, the Common Application, and UC Personal Insight Questions. If the fee is a concern, please reach out to your College Counselor. Learn more and register here.

Junior & Sophomores:

  • The Joint CHS/DLS Virtual College Preview Night for students and parents is on Tuesday, April 21, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM on Zoom. College representatives from a CSU, UC, Private, Out-of-State, and Community College will provide parents and students with an overview of the admissions process and will review mock applications to explain how admissions decisions are made. The webinar will be recorded and shared after the event.
