We want to alert you to a malicious actor who has been contacting some of our vendors, falsely claiming to "sell ad space" on the college athletics website hosted by Presto Sports.

These communications have been conducted via email under the name "Michael Kessler" (email: mkesslerpublicationsgroupnet) and through phone calls from the number (609) 297-5355.

 

This individual is fraudulently representing themselves as acting on behalf of Salem Community College. Please note, they are NOT affiliated with Salem Community College or Presto Sports in any way.

 

If you are contacted by this person, do not respond. Instead, report the interaction immediately to the Salem Community College Help Desk at (856) 351-2671.

 

Rest assured, we are taking all necessary actions to address this situation.

June 24-27, 2025

L.E.A.D.E.R.s Camp (Ages 10-13)

Our Law Enforcement and Developing Emergency Responders camp has been at Camp Edge for over 15 years. Many departments from the Salem County area provide officers and experts to lead the campers through a wide array of law enforcement, fire safety, and emergency response.

 

July 7-11, 2025

Adventure Camp (Ages 6-13)

Campers will enjoy a week of some of the best adventures and fun that Camp Edge has to offer! The High Ropes course has a rock wall and more great climbing obstacles. Campers will have a lot of time in the lake which will consist of activities such as kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding! Team activities will be another portion of camp, campers will have to work together in games and problem-solving activities in order to accomplish the goal.

July 14-18, 2025

Fishing Camp (Ages 6-13)

Fishing camp focuses on learning all things freshwater and related to fishing. Learning various gear and tackle, maintaining gear, learning about different fish species, species identification, and knot tying. Participants will also learn how to fish from kayaks, canoes, and boats. We will also experience other aspects that Camp Edge has to offer. We will have contests for the biggest fish, most fish, and other giveaways.

 

July 21-25, 2025

Warrior’s Edge Camp (Ages 6-13)

Campers experience what it takes to be a 21st century warrior using mind, body and spirit to help themselves and others overcome difficulties and obstacles. Balance, agility, strength and problem solving will be sharpened through physical obstacles. Some obstacles may be similar to what you see on American Ninja Warrior.

 

July 28-August 1, 2025

Adventure Camp (Ages 6-13)

Campers will enjoy a week of some of the best adventures and fun that Camp Edge has to offer! The High Ropes course has a rock wall and more great climbing obstacles. Campers will have a lot of time in the lake which will consist of activities such as kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding! Team activities will be another portion of camp, campers will have to work together in games and problem-solving activities in order to accomplish the goal.

Climb the Mountain (Ages 8-16)

Who may ascend the Mountain of the Lord? Psalm 24:3 Find your true identity as our expedition team hikes with Jesus into the presence of God. Discover answers to life’s biggest questions while experiencing the reclaiming, redeeming, renewing, and restoring love of Christ. This spiritual journey will convict and encourage each member to love God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. Our 2025 team will be led by Ranch Hope’s Chaplain, Roger Garrison, who has been helping young people find their way in Christ for over 20 years.

Greetings To All,

 

This letter is on behalf of the Salem City agencies and organization located in Salem County. Most are non-profit agencies/organizations located in Salem City/Salem County, where families and community residents can go to receive family support, information, referrals and services to enrich the lives of their children and themselves by empowering them to succeed. Donations aid in the servicing of families in the community.

 

This year Salem City Community Agencies and Organizations have come together to host one big Back to School Family Fun Day/ Bookbag Giveaway for the Salem City Community on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 12pm to 4pm. We wish for all school age children to receive a bookbag and much needed school supplies.

 

For this event we are inviting other agencies/organizations to help with funding by sponsoring some of the activities such as the Game Truck, Giant Slides/Bounce Houses, Face Painters, Music, Food (hot dogs/hamburgers/pizza) or Food Trucks, Mr. Softee Ice Cream Truck or Kona Shaved Ice Truck.

 

You may also attend as a volunteer, resource vendor or donate school supplies.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

 

All donations will be stored at the Salem Arts Building, Salem
