Community Update (Corrected)
Quail Creek Country Club POA

Dear Quail Creek Residents,
It appears that a mischievous leprechaun played a trick on us this morning and omitted several paragraphs from this communication. Our apologies! We have included two additional paragraphs. The new paragraphs are marked with a "Pot of Gold".

We would like to express our continued appreciation for everyone’s understanding and patience as we work through a unique and uncertain time.

In these challenging and unprecedented times, we wanted to take a moment to provide an update on services and activity within our community.

As a reminder, the Concierge Desk (now relocated to the Kino Conference Center) and staff at the Administration Building are now meeting by “appointment only.” Our commitment to you is unwavering while we continue to work under the recommendations of the CDC which involve social distancing. To schedule an appointment with one of our staff members please call the Concierge Desk at 520-393-5822 or email QCConcierge@robson.com .

While we have reduced staff due to the closure of most of our facilities, there is a team of staff members who continue to provide services and operations for our community. Our administrative, ALC, golf, food & beverage, landscape, and maintenance staff handle the day to day operations of the Association. We’re very thankful for all that they do for us.

For the safety of others, we have been able to procure face masks for staff members to help reduce the spread of the virus. We continue to practice the recommended guidelines from the CDC. As of today, our staff remains healthy.

Renovations at the Madera Clubhouse have begun. Our General Manager, David Jones, worked with the design team to move the project from the original start date of May 3 to April 10. Resident Board Member, Jeff Krueger, has taken pictures of the initial tear down. In the photos you will see that the lights, carpet and wood floors have been removed and new paint on the walls.  Click here to view the photos Watch What's Happening for new photos as the project continues. Please remember, even if you see the doors open, the Clubhouse is now a construction zone. Please do not enter for your safety and the safety or the workers.

Groceries-to-Go continues to be a community pleaser. Why wouldn’t it? To shop from your home and pick up the groceries the next day without driving outside of the community is a great convenience for all. Ben Castro, F&B Director, Epi Torres, Director of Banquet and Events, and the team have received praises for what they all do. Here is this week's Groceries-to-Go list.

Chef Aris and his culinary team create daily specials for take-out at The Grill. Check out what the team has planned for St. Patrick’s Day 2.0 Friday, April 17, since we missed the actual date in March. Management and F&B have received a smoker from another Robson community that was not in use. Chef and his team are already putting it to good use! This weekend the team will prepare brisket. Residents have already placed orders for what promises to be a great addition to our menu! Curbside pickup is available seven days a week thanks to Mario Velasco, Restaurant Manager, Yesenia Felix, Restaurant Supervisor, and the front of the house team. Find the hours and menus for The Grill on our website .
David Alves and the Patrol team continue to patrol our beautiful community. Due to Coronavirus concerns, you may not see Patrol stop a vehicle rolling through a stop sign or speeding on our streets. However, tickets are being mailed to the owner of the vehicle in question. This is to protect our Patrol employees as well as the violator. Please adhere to stop signs and speed limits. There is no limit on safety!
Our community is not only giving, it’s also a community who care deeply about each other and our staff. A resident team took it upon themselves to create a GoFundMe account to raise money for the staff whose hours have been reduced. Quail Creek Employee Assistance was created by homeowner Andrew Rodriguez and other homeowners. The resident team created the page on April 3 with the goal to raise $50,000. As of today, the goal is just shy by $6,000. We are very proud of the resident team and all of you who donated. Again proving that Quail Creek is a great place to live. We thank you!
Your Board of Directors and management staff want to assure the community that we will be open, informative, and absolutely transparent about the Coronavirus as it pertains to our community. Rumors continue. The most important information we can provide is that as of this morning, April 17, 2020, we are not aware of any confirmed cases of the virus here in Quail Creek. That does not mean the virus is not present in our community. We continue to encourage everyone to practice safety first by adhering to CDC guidelines, especially frequent hand washing and social distancing, avoiding forming in groups of any size. It only takes one individual to pass the virus to family members or neighbors. When contacting others, maintain at least six feet of social distance, especially when you are out walking, biking, etc. We have seen numerous cases where this is not happening. We must take the guidelines about gathering in groups and social distancing seriously.

Please remember that some residents are voluntarily quarantined. None of these people have reported that they are exhibiting virus symptoms. They have stated that their actions are strictly precautionary. If we are notified by a community member that they have a confirmed case, we are prohibited by law from giving out any specific identifying information about the person(s) involved. However, if a case is confirmed in our community, we will inform you. We also continue to remind people, including our staff and all homeowners, to stay home if feeling sick. Should anyone come down with the virus, they should self-quarantine in their home and seek medical attention as needed.

Below are links to information about the coronavirus from National and local sources as well as resources for entertainment and fitness while as we continue to practice social distancing and "stay-at-home" orders.
