On April 17, 2024, we invite you to Faithful Citizenship Day at the Louisiana State Capitol. The goal is to continue to educate and engage Catholics on Catholic Social Teaching and legislation, LCCB positions, and to develop relationships with each other and legislators.

8:45 Meet at St. Joseph Cathedral Parish Hall; Opening Prayer; Coffee; Orientation to Catholic Social Teaching and Current Legislation

9:45 Attend Committee Hearings; Meet Legislators

11:45 Return for Mass

12:30 Light lunch and conversation with Catholic Legislators

2:00 Return to House and Senate Chambers for bill debates

3:30 Return to Cathedral; Evaluate and Closing Prayer; Depart
