April 17 Morning Announcements - CRE Golf Open Edition
While not all of them are as well edited and creative as the one above, it is a way to connect with our students and families. Many of you have also contributed which we LOVE. Please record all the creative things you are doing at home and we can feature them on the announcements. Thanks to Mrs. Doran for her editing of these productions!
Next week, we are featuring creativity and looking for art work, STEM Activities, Music, and other creative clips! We already have a COVID 19 PepTalk and Dude Perfect At Home Edition submitted that we will feature. Submit your videos - including Song of the Day videos using the link below. It's wonderful to have the participation of our families throughout this Distance Learning. Thanks!

Distance Learning Clover PRIDE
As we enter into Week Four of Distance Learning, we encourage you to provide a predictable, consistent, positive, and safe environment for learning. At Clover Ridge, we set daily common expectations, teach and re-teach and acknowledge the expectations by showing CLOVER PRIDE no matter the environment. We encourage you to strengthen the partnership between home and school by connecting school expectations to home expectations.

Fraser Hope Line:
Fraser has launched the Fraser Hope Line, a free phone line that connects people directly with a mental health professional.

Calls are answered live between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Meals for kids during school closure
During the district's long-term closure, Nutrition Services is providing meals for children under the age of 19 who need them. Meals for the week are distributed on Mondays and Wednesdays at Clover Ridge Elementary and Riverview Terrace. More details can be found HERE
Donations welcome to district's Angel Fund
A significant portion of the funding provided to support our meal program comes from private donations to the district's Angel Fund. Donations can be made online HERE
or they can be sent to the Nutrition Services Department, Attn: Julie Eklund, 11 Peavey Rd, Chaska, 55318. Parents who wish to donate funds that are currently in their child's school lunch account, should also contact Julie Eklund at [email protected]

Parents we need your photos of distant learning!
Hi Parents,
We are creating a yearbook page of students working at home. Please add your photos to this shared folder of your kids. If chosen, your photo will appear in the yearbook!

| I hope you all are finding time to be creative. I miss the creative roar of the Art Room. Remember CRE Artists, you are the artist. You come up with an idea then figure out how you are going to create it. It can be more traditional, paper and pencil; or non-traditional, working with found objects or invented tools. Sometimes the idea sparks the creative process and project or sometimes it is the materials that give you the ideas. Have fun and experiment. Some things will work out and others will not. Don't let that stop you. Keep on creating. I am going to try to help you out along the way. Check out my videos on YouTube. See the link below.
Artsonia - You are still able to upload your work on to your online portfolio using Artsonia. I would love to see what you are creating while we are apart. Click on the Artsonia icon on your grade level page or on the Specialist page, you will find instructions.
