April 19, 2024

Dear Parents,

Are you ready to make pizzas? We aren’t either but we will be! We need your help so plan to volunteer a couple of hours on Saturday, May 4. We need you to help make 2,900 pizzas!

The construction crew is doing a great job moving right along. I apologize for the inconvenience and congestion on the road. If you could turn around at the fire department instead of the street by the trucks, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Our concert is next week, on Wednesday, April 24 at 1:30pm and 6:00pm in the school gym. As a reminder, Grades 6-8 should wear their bell attire and K3 - Grade 5 should wear dress clothes (dresses, dress pants, colored shirts and dress shoes are preferred). Please make sure your child is at both concerts and in their classrooms by 5:40pm for the evening concert. All students will return to their classrooms after the concerts, so you can pick them up there. If your child is leaving after the afternoon concert, they must have a note sent to the office that morning. Thank you for helping us keep all kids safe!

The gym doors for the concert will open at 12:30pm. All parents/grandparents, etc. MUST enter through the gym doors. Feel free to shop the book fair before the concert while you wait. For the evening concert, the doors will open at 5:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation.

Don’t forget to shop our Book Fair next week! It will be open before and after school during the week and before and after the concert. If you have time to help checkout guests before and after the concerts, please reach out to Naomi in the office.

It’s getting to be that time of year – shorts weather! Per our handbook, students are allowed to wear shorts if the weather forecast is predicted to be 70° or above. Please make sure shorts are of the appropriate length and not worn on Mass days.

Our full-time K3 class is full for next year but we still have a few spots available in our Monday/Wednesday/Friday K3 class so please let your friends and family know it’s time to get registered.

If you are in need of summer daycare, you must register ASAP. If you are planning on fall daycare, before and/or after-school care, please register by July 1. School families will have priority registration and we want to make sure we have room for your child/ren. There is a great demand for daycare so make sure to get your registration in or we will not be able to guarantee a spot.

See you at the concert! Have a great weekend!

Joan Schlaefer
