Gateway Conference has adopted the Mission wording of the Free Methodist vision frame as presented by Bishop Cowart at our March Leadership Summit. Gateway has worked this mission for many years and will continue to do so with renewed energy and leading by the Spirit of God.

“IGNITING A SPIRIT-FUELED MOVEMENT THAT CATALYZES
THE MULTIPLICATION OF LEADERS AND CHURCHES”

As you have grown accustom to our M.O.V.E ( Mission Assessment, Organize the Data, Visioneer a New Future, and Engage the Plan) approach in district meetings, we now shift to the similar strategy to implement. The YOUR NEXT BREAK-THRU strategy is highlighted by FMCUSA. (STEPS: Capture Reality, Consider possibilities, choose one, create road map, celebrate wins)   You can expect our district meetings to encompass a devotional, one of the Next Break-Thru steps each meeting, prayer and care. Your District Leader will be in touch to set up your May and June meetings.

It is obvious that many of our Gateway churches have gained knowledge and acumen on how to navigate our new ministry reality and are robustly following the Spirit of God. We must continue to lean on our connectional methods, our calling, and our study. As we do so diligently, the Kingdom of God will continue to expand in our region. I thank and praise God with you for the ministry fruit we are harvesting!

You say, don't you, 'In four more months the harvest will begin?' Look, I tell you, open your eyes and observe that the fields are ready for harvesting now! – John 4:35

On the Adventure with you,

Supt. Ben
The Church Planting Initiative is excited to partner with church planters who are engaging in new, innovative approaches to church planting in the 21st century.

Each year, we will select qualified church planters to be a part of our fellows’ program. As a fellow, you will be a part of a one-year cohort with other planters from a variety of contexts and backgrounds. You will receive grant funding of up to $5,000, enjoy free resources, and receive regular coaching calls from an expert in a contextually appropriate area.

If God is calling you to plant a church and you are in the first 1-3 years of planting a new church and desire to become a church-planting fellow, then we invite you to apply for our next cohort of Church Planting Fellows!
Deadline is June 4th, 2022

Asbury Seminary Shepherd's Fund available for Retired Clergy who attended Asbury (or a spouse)

3. You must have medical costs that place a strain on your finances (this fund is generous; you do not have to be destitute).
