On behalf of TLARGI, I want to extend a thank you to all who attended and contributed to the
February Spouse's/Casino Night! Always fun with Wayne Pulcini's 'gambling hall' inside the Phoenix Club ballroom; and a great pre-cursor to the upcoming
Summer Conference at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas! Thank you also to Jim Harmon and the Technical Committee for providing a fine TIPS Session featuring Ricky Magee of Aditya Birla delivering an informative presentation on a functional and reinforcing rubber additive: Carbon Black! And a thanks to Danielle Hyslop and her imaginative Committee for coming up with great prizes, and a special thanks to the companies that donated prizes!
This evening was another fine example of active TLARGI participation at its best. If you are interested in getting more involved in TLARGI, please
contact us today.
Congratulations to the 2015 graduates of the
TLARGI Basic Rubber Technology course, and thank you to instructors Tom Martin and Rick Ziebell for another job well done! This 20-week course is a wonderful resource and tool for anyone wanting to further their value in the rubber industry or simply desiring to learn new things! (
A special note: After many years of hard work and dedication, Tom Martin, Jr., has decided to step down from this instructor role. Many students have graduated during Tom's tenure and furthered their footprint in the rubber industry. On behalf of TLARGI, we want to congratulate and thank Tom for his years of service!)
Lastly, the
April Dinner Meeting is just around the corner on April 7, and that means the ever popular
yearbooks will be out (thanks to our outstanding Editor, Beth Sepulveda, and her talented Committee)! Our after-dinner entertainment,
The Podunk Poets, are guaranteed to get the 'country and rock' in you fired up with their awesome musical talent! (Don't forget to
register and pay online by April 2.)
Sincerely,
Larry Clarke
2015 TLARGI Chairman
