Looking for new investment advisors

We are considering a change in our investment adviser for one of our associations, and I'm wondering if any of you have somebody that you like who works in the association space? I'd be happy to include them on our RFP.

Hiring an intern
We would like to hire an intern to help us with our membership directory and then to work on our convention. Where does one find an intern?

Managing chapters and sessions
I'm interested in learning more about how different associations manage local member units such as chapters or sections. Does anyone have a fresh new model they'd like to share? Or something that is tried and true but working really well? What isn't working that we can learn from?

Support personnel seminars
Over the past few years we have offered a Personnel Seminar for support staff, admin assistants and other clerical staff. I'm looking for suggestions about speakers to present this year.

Barriers to team effectiveness
by Sherry Budziak
It is a truism that teamwork is important to achieve organizational goals. But what makes for effective teams? Association executive John Forbes has been conducting educational programs for .orgCommunity and I am excited that he will be with WSAE during its Spring Outing presenting to its CEOs in May!

Events
CEO Roundtables
CEO Roundtables are designed specifically for association CEOs only, as a venue for networking and sharing ideas. This is a perfect opportunity to meet with your peers in a casual setting and discuss topics of interest.
