Central Valley World Language Fair 2017

Volunteers needed for our Alliance Française VIP room at the fair.

Let's reach out to the next generation of AFF members and demonstrate what "fraternité" means in the Central Valley!

The World Language Fair began in 1975 at Fresno State University, in Fresno, California. A group of highly dedicated language instructors from throughout the Central Valley came together to create something special; The Foreign Language Fair, now known as the World Language Fair. Later it moved to a rotating basis from high School to high School, thus allowing creativity of community and school leadership to come into play.

It will be held at Central High School, East Campus on April 29, 8:00-3:30.

Please contact Nidia Innis (nidinnis@gmail.com) or Dennis Ulrich (deniseulrich@att.net) to volunteer.

Attention all high-school students!
The Alliance Française of Fresno is offering a scholarship to one high-school student to attend one session of French classes at our Fresno office. Do you want to continue your French over the summer? Do you want to make faster progress or speak more fluently? Or do you just love the language? Please submit a 300-word letter of intent and one letter of recommendation from a teacher by April 30, 2017. Send your letters to LisaMarie Slater, Alliance Française of Fresno, 4747 N. First Street Suite 103, Fresno, CA 93726.
