Alms Park Advisory Council Opportunity

Christine Carli, CT resident, is re-forming the Alms Park Advisory Council. Historically, this small group scheduled trail trimming, cut back invasive plants, and worked with the Park Board to allocate funding appropriately. It's time to get a new group going!

How can you can help out:
- by volunteering for a clean up day  and/or
- join what promises to be a very chill, tree-hugging, low-commitment volunteer opportunity as an Alms Park Advisory Council member. (four meetings per calendar year, maximum!)

Our first clean-up day is scheduled for
SATURDAY, APRIL 28th from 9am to noon  at Alms Park. Tools will be provided by the Park Board, but you can bring your favorite clippers if you like. We'll be cutting back the honeysuckle that currently obstructs the valley views. We  hope to see you there!!
