Sarah Thomas is a Regional Technology Coordinator in Prince George’s County Public Schools. She is also a Google Certified Innovator, Google Education Trainer, and the founder of the
#EduMatch movement, a project that empowers educators to make global connections across common areas of interest. Sarah is a doctoral candidate in Education at George Mason University. She has presented internationally, participated in the Technical Working Group to refresh the 2017 ISTE Standards for Educators, and is a recipient of the 2017 ISTE Making IT Happen award. She is also a national advisor for the Future Ready Instructional Coaches Strand.

Get involved in the refresh of the ISTE Standards for Computer Science Educators
Google Training Center gives educators practice using Google tools to support learning while they prepare to earn Google Certified Educator status. This program was awarded an ISTE Seal of Alignment for the ISTE Standards for Educators in January.
Resources for strengthening digital literacy
Learning.com helps K-8 students practice, apply and assess their skills in digital literacy. The EasyTechcurriculum and its companion curriculum, Inquiry, offer engaging practice and real-world application exercises, while the Digital Literacy Assessmentprovides data to let students know if they’re on the right track. All three products underwent ISTE Seal of Alignment reviews in January and were awarded seals for the Standards for Students. The Inquiry curriculum received a Proficiency-level seal while the other two resources earned a Readiness-level seal.
