Uniform & ID Reminder
Wednesday, April 4
begins the last two months of school. Students are expected to be in uniform and wearing their ID on a red lanyard. IDs can be made through the Dean's Office and temporary IDs are available from the Attendance Office and Main Office before school.

for the Presence Resurrection Medical Staff Scholarship and the Sr. Mary Evelyn Giemza, C.R. RN Scholarship. Other scholarship application deadlines are also listed and are between mid-April to May.

Perform at Notre Dame Jazz Fest

The concert includes the award-winning Resurrection/ Notre Dame
featuring students from Notre Dame College Prep and Resurrection College under the direction of Darren Scorza. The concert also includes the
University of Notre Dame (UND) Jazz Band and New Orleans Brass Band under the direction of Larry Dwyer and the
Reunion Jazz Orchestra (RJO). The RJO performs throughout the Chicagoland area and donates its proceeds to the Notre Dame College Prep Music Program. The NDCP Music Program is under the direction of Michael Wallace.

Blessed Celine Awards
The Blessed Celine Award recognizes Resurrection alumnae who exemplify the life values of
Blessed Celine, the foundress of the Sisters of the Resurrection. The recipients are accomplished in
their fields of endeavor and, like Blessed Celine, work toward the advancement of women in society
and act as positive Christian role models for young women.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Award recognizes individuals from the Resurrection Athletic community who have participated in sports or contributed to the Resurrection College Prep Athletic Program. Athletes inducted into the Hall of Fame have demonstrated outstanding athletic accomplishments, leadership or contributions.

Honor Society Inductions
Honor Society Inductions
will be held
Thursday, April 26, 2018 at
7 pm in the Little Theatre.
At this ceremony, students who have met the requirements will be inducted into one or more of the nine Resurrection College Prep Honor Societies.
Resurrection Honor Societies include:
International Thespians Honor Society,
La Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (Spanish),
Modern Music Masters (Tri-M);
Mu Alpha Theta (Math);
National Art Honor Society;
National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll (Journalism);
Science National Honor Society; and
Societa Onoraria Italica (Italian).
Invitations will be sent to inductees and their families in early April.
RSVPs will be due Friday, April 20.
A mandatory rehearsal for all inductees will be held
Thursday, April 26 during Seminar A in the Little Theatre.

is hosting the annual ResPunzel hair donation program
Tuesday, May 22.
All hair types are accepted, except dyed, bleached or permed hair. Hair stylists will be available during lunch and seminar to cut 8 or more inches from all students and staff members who are willing to donate. Class of 2018 Scholarship & Award Letters
To date, the Class of 2018 has been awarded over $13.7 million in grants and scholarships to colleges and universities. The dollar amount continues to rise! Congratulations to our seniors on all of the grant and scholarship awards they are continuing to receive! Seniors, keep submitting your college acceptance and awards letters to College Counselor Ms. Meredith Rogers in Student Services. You may also send letters via email to
Senior Parents - please encourage your daughter to submit these letters as soon as possible.
Class of 2019 Senior Portraits
- Mark your calendars for Senior Portraits - the dates are scheduled
June 4, 5, 6 and July 18, 2018 from
8 am to 3 pm at the Resurrection Little Theatre.
Your yearbook portrait will be taken at this time using a provided black drape and pearls,
you will need to wear a tank top under the drape.
Information about appointment times and photo packages will be sent by the Lifetouch/Prestige Portraits closer to the end of the school year.
