This acclaimed animated tale by director Hayao Miyazaki follows schoolgirl Satsuke and her younger sister, Mei, as they settle into an old country house with their father and wait for their mother to recover from an illness in an area hospital. As the sisters explore their new home, they encounter a nd befriend playful spirits in their house and the nearby forest, most notably the massive cuddly creature known as Totoro.

One adult must remain at the library with each family group for the duration of the program. The library is not open for other services.
Indian Folk Art Workshop*

Acton student artist Sanjana Krishna will lead this folk art class for kids ages 9 to 12.

Preschool Story Time
Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Children ages 3-7 are invited to drop-in for an interactive themed story time with picture books, music and movement followed by a craft.

Youngsters ages 4 and up are invited to sharpen their Lego skills. Bring your imagination--the library has the Legos!  No sign-up needed. 
Family Games

The library's collection of games, including Monopoly, puzzles, card games, checkers, chess, and more, is at the disposal of library users ages 6 to 12 and their families. New games to the collection are Candy Land, Hoot Owl Hoot, and Race to the Treasure.
