Making Molten History - May 18
We're happy to announce a new event featuring talented glassblowers from Northern, Central, and Southern Arizona. Making Molten History is a day of exciting hot glass demonstrations.

Each artist will base their two-hour demonstration on a period and/or theme in art history. Look for more updates on our website soon.

This Saturday and Sunday Sonoran Glass School will have a booth with new works on display and the mobile glassblowing studio, the G.O.A.T. ( Glassblowing On A Trailer), providing live demonstrations at the Tucson Sculpture Festival.

Visit our booth in space #58 to see new sculptural works from staff on display. Our very own Hot Shop Instructor Jason Marstall also has a booth at the event showing his new sculptural work. Come see us and say hi!

Make the most of your spring with Visiting Artist Workshops to take your skills to the next level!





Youth and Adult Summer Camps!
Adult Summer Camp is now full but we are working on adding another session in June.

If you would like to be added to the waiting list for this new session, call the office at 520-884-7814.
Sonoran Glass School's Youth Summer Camp , known as CAMP FUEGO, takes place in the first two weeks of June for ages 12 to 17. Work in all of our studios and make beautiful glass art projects using furnace glassblowing, torchworking, and kiln-firing. Students will also take a chaperoned, educational field trip to the Tucson Museum of Art, the Flandrau Planetarium and Science Center, and the University of Arizona Scientific Glassblowing Lab to learn the science behind the art.

WEEK ONE: June 3rd-7th, 2019
Members: $350
Non-Members: $400

Demonstrations from Arizona Glassblowers. Demos will be inspired by a celebrated period in art history chosen by the artist. Artists will have two-hour time frames to demonstrate.
