The Life Flute Set is made from Curly Maple, Walnut Burl, and Turquoise.

Flute #1 is a Mid F# and is ready to ship. Flutes #2 through 10 are available for order. 

Mary Drake, a friend and client of many years, hand painted the Spring, Summer and Autumn totems for the Life flute. She had this idea for a personal flute and together we decided to build a Flute Of The Month Club flute from this idea.

Mary has created several painting for my family. They hold a prominent location within my home and heart. Below is the Tree Of Life painting she created for me.

I have often been amazed at the ubiquitous nature of the Tree Of Life symbol.  It is found through nearly every culture. The value of trees to us as humans is extensive. Food, shelter, shade, beauty, building material, the list goes on.

Perhaps the most important reality is the oxygen trees release to the atmosphere. We certainly exist symbiotically with the trees of the world.

We find deeper more spiritual meaning when we consider the roots of the tree, the trunk and the leaves. Connection to Mother Earth, the reaching for the Light of Father Sky. 

It is also easy to see the Ancestral Tree within the imagery of the Tree Of Life.

Within my personal spiritual belief, there is a story of the Tree Of Life. On the tree there is a fruit that is most delicious and desirable. In this story the fruit represents eternal life with our Creator.

The myriad of beliefs, stories and lore of the Tree Of Life is at the core of why the Woodsounds Logo is made up with a Tree Of Life.

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is today.
