Coaching & Counseling for Family Caregivers

Alzheimer's and Dementia Specific Coaching and Counseling Services . Medicare Accepted!

he Alzheimer's Care Resource Center offers a specialized dementia specific coaching and counseling program to allow clients access to support and professional guidance from licensed clinical social workers, registered nurses and advanced Aging Life Care professional care managers, all of whom have extensive experience and advanced training in supporting individuals, couples and families adjusting and coping with issues related to Alzheimer's disease and other neurocognitive impairments.

Our  Counseling & Coaching for Caregivers™ program was designed to provide you with the opportunity to receive all of the benefits that come with attending a support group or caregiver workshop, but which are available to you on a one-on-one basis.   A variety of therapeutic modalities are utilized to provide you with person-centered care and service.

Our sessions will help you cope with the changes and challenges that accompany caring for someone with memory loss.  Sessions are affordable and available in comfortable and convenient settings including our offices, your home, by telephone and online.

Free Workshop ~ The Carlisle Palm Beach
 Alzheimer's Disease vs Normal Aging

Join us on April 11th at 10:30 a.m. at The Carlisle Palm Beach for a Free Educational Workshop. Dawn Epstein, Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Care Resource Center will discuss Alzheimer's Disease vs Normal Aging.

24-Hour Caregiver Helpline

Caregivers and family members of those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other cognitive impairment never have to go through a crisis alone. The Alzheimer's Care Resource Center is here to help you get through it.

We provide local caregivers and families with counseling, coaching, guidance, support, and dementia specific resources to help you cope with the challenges of caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

Education and training is available to help caregivers manage difficult behaviors, learn effective communication techniques and help to manage stress.

The Alzheimer's Caregiver Helpline helpline is available to anyone in the Alzheimer's community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide emotional support, guidance, resources and crisis intervention to caregivers and family members of those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other memory impairments.

NEW Early Stage Support Group
We are facilitating a new Early Stage Support Group which will  be held on April 19th from 10:00am - 11:00 am and will be on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  

This group is for those with early stage memory loss and you must pre-register.

a monthly Paint for Fun™ class on 

Friday, April 19th, 2019

from 10:00am - 12:00pm 

 

There is no charge to attend!

 

Working step by step, with our instructor, you will create your very own masterpiece. During the painting class, participants will enjoy upbeat music, snacks, and refreshments in a fun and cheerful environment. 

 

When complete, all participants can keep their painting as a souvenir.  Come join the fun!
