The Foundation Staff had a blast putting on the 2019 Apple Awards on Sat., April 6 at the swanky Vehicle Vault in Parker, CO.

As promised, this year’s celebration was more fun, outrageous and epic than ever before! It featured live entertainment from That Eighties Band , door prizes and competitions. 2019 Apple Award finalists and winners were revealed in a lively ceremony.

I am excited to introduce myself as the Foundation’s new Executive Director. For the last three years I have been a part of the Foundation in all aspects of programing, event planning and development. I will continue to work with the Douglas County community, business leaders, donors, families and parents to help the District provide the innovative educational opportunities the District is known for. It has been great to watch the Foundation grow and thrive and I am honored to continue to move the Foundation forward.

Fun Ways to Give Back this Summer!
The Foundation is thrilled to announce that we are the nonprofit partner for this year's Castle Rock Summer Jam featuring The Fray . Castle Rock Summer Jam is a local music festival featuring a variety of acts. It was started as a way to give back to the community, previously giving charitable donations and college scholarships to local high school music students. This year the bands include: Battle of the Band winners (upcoming), Solar, The John Saunders Band and The Fray . This year the event will be Saturday, July 13.
