MTNA Recap
David Stocker, PNWRVP and PTG staff member Kathy Maxwell traveled to Spokane, WA in March for the 2019 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Conference. There was wonderful assistance from the local Inland Northwest Chapter at PTG's booth in the exhibit hall. Special thanks to Music City-Spokane, who provided a piano in order to demonstrate well regulated and several purposely de-regulated notes to interested attendees. PTG helped sponsor a new MTNA event this year - a new member and first-time attendee breakfast. PTG President Paul Brown addressed the group and also helped staff the PTG exhibit booth. PTG has resources and financial assistance available for chapters who would like to be involved with local and state-wide music teacher events. Please contact Kathy Maxwell at 913-276-5202 or  [email protected]  for more information.

PTG Going Green
As adopted in 2005, the Council Book of Resolutions states, "Home Office and PTG membership shall be environmentally aware." To that end, the HO will be eliminating the printing and mailing of such things as newsletters, supplements, invoices and monthly statements over the course of the next year. Please  update your profile online  or contact the HO if we do not have your current email address.
