Let me give you an example of something that you can determine and resolve on your own. Pyroluria. As many as 50% of those with autism, 70% of persons with depression and 30% of persons struggling with ADD/ADHD may have Pyroluria underlying these conditions that make them very difficult to reach with traditional and even holistic therapies.
The symptoms of Pyroluria are very similar to many of the symptoms associated with autism. In general, these symptoms have a mysteriously intractable quality to them, and may lead to lifelong issues with severe inner tension, ongoing anxiety, poor stress tolerance (with added stress of any kind making the symptoms worse), digestive issues and difficulty digesting protein, frequent colds and infections, joint pain or stiffness, acne, eczema or psoriasis, mood swings and reactivity, poor short term memory, and a tendency in many to lean towards being a loner…among many other potential symptoms.
Pyroluria is the result of a buildup of the waste products, called kryptopyrroles, from the production of hemoglobin. Kryptopyroles don’t really serve any useful biological purpose, and are normally excreted by most of us uneventfully. In someone with Pyroluria, however, these kryptopyrroles don’t get excreted and will tend to build up–even more so under stress of any kind. Kryptopyrroles have a tendency to bind very strongly with things like Zinc and vitamin B6, making these largely unavailable to the body…which is a very big problem. Zinc and B6 are nutrients critical for the functioning of the entire body and mind–including digestion, immune system, cognitive functioning and emotions. Over time, deficiencies can really take their toll on the way one feels and functions, and have serious consequences. Often, people will go for years suffering the effects of Pyroluria regardless of what therapies they try or how well they eat.
If you feel that your child’s improvements have reached a plateau, or that there seems to be some hurdle they just can’t get over, it may be this common, co-existing condition called Pyroluria. You can pay for a urine screening to determine if your child has Pyroluria, OR you can save time and money by testing on your own. The treatment for Pyroluria is supplementation of 15 mg Zinc, 30 mg vitamin B6- in the form of pyridoxal 5-phosphate (p-5-p),
AND

Put the Zinc and p-5-p to the test. Give them in the morning, and wait at least 30 minutes for results. If you notice improvement in your child's behavior, they have Pyroluria. If you notice no changes, your child probably doesn't have Pyroluria. Based on results, if

son forgets to take his Zinc and B6, he is argumentative beyond belief, and everything that goes wrong is everyone else's fault- he will not claim personal responsibility for ANYTHING. His attitude is sour and mean, and he will not stop talking back if his life depended on it. Within 30 minutes of Zinc and B6, he is compliant, helpful, sweet, focused and polite. For us, Zinc and B6 bring peace and harmony. I encourage you to find out if your child can be helped with them, too!

Dear Elaine,
I just wanted to give you an update on my son’s progress from this past week. My son Austin is 10 years old, and autistic. I started Respen-A
™
over a week ago, on a Friday. He immediately showed gains. The first day he was so calm, whereas before, he had been so aggressive and combative with me and his teachers. Anytime I said “no” to him, he would have a tantrum, or hit me or the dog, or throw things.
Two weeks ago, his teachers were talking about a different placement for my son outside of the school district. For me, Respen-A

was a last ditch effort after many biomedical treatments that I'd tried hadn’t worked. I had planned on finally giving in, and medicating him, and had an appointment booked for late March to get prescriptions.
I can’t believe his overall change. The teacher on Monday, after only three days use of Respen-A

, said he'd had a great day at school, with no behaviors! She texted me again on Thursday to say what a great week he’s been having, and that no behaviors were seen! He was even attending to reading, which is something he never did. He still can't read, but this new interest in having me read to him is a new beginning!
Austin is also talking more. He always had some language, but minimal, one to two word phrases. He has since been able to string longer sentences together, adding in prepositions, and even correcting himself when doing so. At the dinner table last night, my husband asked Austin a question about school, never expecting an answer, but he gave an appropriate response, and we were dumbfounded! That has NEVER happened.

, my son was verbal, but limited. When we introduced Respen-A
™
his vocabulary exploded. His ability to recall or remember things gradually improved. Before Respen-A
™
, he was able to learn, but if we stopped practicing, he had to relearn things later. Now that his memory is good- I will say even better than good (as you can see from the video we shared on your Facebook page), when he sings he knows every word from the songs that he likes. Guillermo is able to focus on learning other things that he likes, too. He is able to understand and follow instructions easily, whether he is at home, school, the doctor's office, or any other environment.
My son is also more social and playful, and outgoing to the point that he now likes to tease us, and even to prank his brother. Yesterday, his brother got desperate with him, and raised his voice. So I corrected his brother, and Guillermo came into the kitchen where I was, with a smile on his face, knowing that he had pranked his brother successfully.
The only thing we are missing is for him to carry on a long conversation. As of now, we have understanding, memory, communication & socialization. All of this happened gradually, and I am anticipating that long conversations will happen in the near future.

This is the first Easter that our son has fully engaged in the Easter basket hunt -- he was able to read most of the clues I hid around the house, and was so excited to hunt for the basket. He kept talking about it afterward. Normally he just tags along behind his sister and doesn't really get the concept. So, we are making progress!

When you travel on an airplane, do you pack the Respen A

in your suitcase that is checked or in your carry on? Do the scanners damage the discs?
Scanners at airports will affect the viability of the Respen-A. Please as to have it hand inspected to avoid damage.
Worried about the calcium lotion leaking in your luggage? You have two options:
1. As the lotion settles, the Emu Oil rises to the top and can leak through the lid. Place a piece of Saran Wrap between the lid and the container to help prevent that leakage, and put it in a Ziploc bag just in case.
