In late 2018, the US Global Change Research Program released Volume II of the Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4), providing the most current information on the implications of climate change across 10 regions of the United States.

But what does it mean for the national parks in your region*?

Over the next year, the NPS Climate Change Response Program will host a series of regional roundtable discussions on findings and implications for area parks. Ten sessions (one for each region of the National Climate Assessment) will be delivered in the months ahead. The full series schedule can be found here, and the first roundtable debuts this month. See below for details and participant registration.

*Please note that NCA4 regions are not synonymous with NPS regions. This image can help you determine the NCA4 region in which your park falls.
