Volunteer to help with the Ventress Vegetable Garden!

Vegetable seeds will be available to all during National Library Week

at the Circulation Desk for cultivating at home. In addition, a small community vegetable garden will be started to grow outside the library with the ongoing help of volunteers. We are actively looking for volunteers of all ages to help us grow and maintain the Ventress Vegetable Garden. VML Cultural Series Lecture: Marshfield History

Join us on Wednesday, April 17, 7-8:30 p.m. for a presentation on "Six Common Myths of Marshfield History", presented by local historian and lecturer Bob Jackman. The town of Marshfield is rich with history. Many feel they are familiar with the facts - but are they truth or hearsay? Free and open to the public; no tickets required.

Children's Updates

Coming up soon: join us for fun during April Vacation Week! We have a special Vacation Week Family Storytime on Tuesday, April 16th at 11:00 a.m., and a special One-Up Games Super Smash Bros. Tournament in the afternoon from 2:30-6:00 p.m. (this tournament is for grades 4-12 and registration is required). On Wednesday, April 17th, join us in the morning at 11:00 a.m. for a craft buffet - we'll have lots of craft supplies set out for you to create whatever you can imagine with! In the afternoon, we'll be showing a family movie screening of Mary Poppins Returns (PG) at 2:00 p.m. in our Library Plaza Program Room. Can't get enough of the library? Join us on Thursday, April 18th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for an extra-fun family board game party! We'll have tons of over-sized and just-right-sized board games for you to play with!

School-Aged Lunch Program

Have school-aged kids that need lunch over vacation week? Sign up here by April 9th to register them for our Brown Bag Lunch Program - thanks to our sponsors at Star Market, Roche Brothers, and the Marshfield Food Pantry, we'll have free lunches available April 16th - 18th for school-aged kids who pre-register by April 9th.
