One thing we can say with certainty is that relationships between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking populations will continue to be important. About 2 billion people speak English and over 1.4 billion people speak some form of Chinese .

The Chinese Chamber is sad to report that Milan Stevanovich, VP for Global Strategy for the Detroit Chinese Business Association , recently passed away due to complications arising from Covid-19.

View from the Peak and SupChina are hosting a major now-online all-day multi-panel discussion of the future of US-China relations on May 6th as part of their "US-China Series." Registration is now free .
The governor's office reached out to the Chinese Chamber and we also recommended that the Minority Working Group contact the Chinese Chamber's first chair and founder of the Columbus Asian Festival , Dr. Yung-Chen Lu, for this important initiative.
Columbus Chinese Chamber Branding
The Chinese Chamber is working on a new website due to roll out in May. Part of the new website will be a new brand image.

We invite our friends to be a part of the rebranding by submitting entries for a new logo and font for our name.

If the Chamber selects one of the submissions, the designer will be thanked in our May newsletter and s/he will see the design throughout Chinese Chamber materials!
