Prairie Central District for Sport, Culture and Recreation Inc.
So Long Winter ... Hello Spring!
yellow-tulip-field.jpg
Happy Spring everyone! I think we can finally say that winter is behind us... well hopefully! Moving into the month of April, our staff members are continuing to work hard at building relationships, creating opportunities and actively engaging communities, as we practice social distancing. While workshops, community sessions and visitations have been postponed, we remain available to assist communities in creating sport and culture recreation activities for when the appropriate time arrives. The safety of our community members, volunteers and staff remains to be of great importance, which is why our offices are closed to the public for the foreseeable future, but you can contact us here . The Prairie Central District wishes you a Happy Easter and a healthy spring, hope to see you soon!

Saskatchewan Lotteries
Unveils a New Logo
Sask Lotteries, which serves as the main fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups in the province, has introduced an updated brand and visual identity.

Sask Lotteries logo files and brand guidelines — as well as additional information about the province’s lottery-funded sport, culture and recreation system are available at sasklotteries.ca.
Safe Sport
The Government of Saskatchewan and Sask Sport Inc., are launching the second phase of a joint marketing campaign to ensure a healthy, safe and respectful environment for all participants in amateur sport in the province.
“We are proud to partner with Sask Sport, recognized as a leader across Canada for their dispute resolution services and tools, on this important initiative,” Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Gene Makowsky said. “Following a growing movement of what is no longer acceptable in sport, this campaign increases awareness of the valuable tools available to assist coaches, athletes and parents.”
"In particular, the campaign focuses on the Respect Resource Line, where expert staff provide information, bilingual support, resources and referrals by phone, text or email. This confidential and anonymous resource is intended to assist coaches, athletes and parents in determining the most appropriate course of action."
