It is our sincere hope and prayer that all of our members are doing well in this very crazy world that we are currently living in. I would like to share a couple updates with you but will be short as I know we have all been reading staggering amounts of information and there are better ways to be spending our time.
WV Central remains open and fully operational (lobbies are closed) as an essential business. Our drive-ups at all three locations are open. We remain ready to respond to your needs with our
home banking, mobile banking, remote deposit and other electronic services.
We continue to make loans so please allow us to assist you in those areas. If you need to speak with us, we remain available at 304-485-4523 and if preferred you may text the same number and communicate with us.
If you are experiencing any concerns about your loans with WV Central, we are ready to assist you with interest payments and other options. We have also created a special 90 day loan to produce some cash flow for our members if needed. No payments will be expected on this loan type for 90 days.
As of today, April 3
, the Treasury and SBA loan program known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is being offered to businesses. The program is available to small businesses that were in operation on Feb. 15 with 500 or fewer employees, including not-for-profits, veterans’ organizations, Tribal concerns, self-employed individuals, sole proprietorships, and independent contractors. We are finalizing the processes as I write this and we will be ready to help our members with this program.
