To say April 2020 was unprecedented seems like an understatement. In usual fashion, the Class of 2020 showed that leadership isn't just about leading. Leadership is adjusting to a shift in the way our LMT sessions are held; jumping into help in a new way; stepping out of your comfort zone because you have no other choice. We have a community, state, country and world that have had life turned upside down and sideways but we remain grateful, humble and kind.

Kudos to the Class of 2020 and the Maury County Session planners for coming together via Zoom versus the usual day and half in the county. Unfortunately, the Maury County Session was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Maury County planning team did a fantastic job! Maury County was living up to some pretty high expectations. However, they agreed to do what they could to make a virtual session successful. A special thank you to Brenda Hogan (LMT 2019) and Chaz Molder (LMT 2016), Mayor, City of Columbia. Brenda gave a warm welcome and overview of what could have been but wasn't. Chaz followed up with a well rounded "State of the City/County" but had to admit that he will be known as the Mayor that cancelled Mule Day. There was a great mixture of reality and humor. It was great!

A special thank you to Jill Ayers (LMT 2010), LMT Board Chair for hopping on the call. Snow Robbie (the official appointed mascot for the Class of 2020) even made an appearance!
