Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, rebuilding lives
URGENT:   RTP needs your help as we continue to provide critical repairs for our homeowners so that they will have safe homes to shelter in during the COVID-19 crisis.  Please, give whatever you can today.
As we continue to monitor the developments regarding COVID-19, we hope that you and your loved ones are well. Rebuilding Together Peninsula is committed to the health and safety of our community. We work every day as “Neighbor Helping Neighbor” to ensure the security of our homeowners as they shelter in place. We are grateful for our generous supporters and volunteers as we navigate this together.

We Continue to Provide Emergency Repairs
Our repair technicians, Frank and Lauren, are in the field taking care of critical home repair projects for those in need, such as replacing hot water heaters, and making plumbing and electrical repairs. All work is performed following the mitigation measures recommended by the San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties’ Departments of Health.

Last week we repaired the plumbing in a homeowner’s only bathroom and replaced the flooring and toilet that had been destroyed by water damage. This week we provided more plumbing repairs and placed a piece of plexiglas over a broken window.
We Donated Emergency Supplies

We took stock in our warehouse, inventoried the personal protective equipment (PPE) and donated it to our health care providers. The PPE was distributed between Kaiser RWC, San Francisco General, UCSF, and Stanford. We encourage others to donate PPE to our health care providers.

We Are Conducting Wellness Checks With our Homeowners

Our Americorps members, Josh and Courtney, are calling our homeowners to make sure they are safe and secure during the shelter in place. We refer them to any resources they may need.

May 5th is Giving Tuesday Now
