Dear Brewster Day Camp Family,
Happy April!
Thank you to the entire Camp Family for your ongoing Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace. Over the last few weeks, we have received an outpouring of support and encouragement from friends and family as we continue to prepare for another amazing summer at 3570 Main Street.
Two weeks ago, I sent a letter to the Camp Family detailing our initial COVID response. You can find this update, as well as many past eWaves, here, on our website.
Since March 20th, one large shift has taken place. Massachusetts' Governor Charlie Baker extended his stay-at-home directive and school closures through May 4th.
While the situation may be shifting on a daily basis across the country, BDC's outlook remains positive. We are continuing to hire staff, prepare curriculum and programming, and maintain and improve our facilities.
While news changes daily and all our lives continue to be significantly impacted by current measures to stem the spread of COVID-19, we are confident that camp experiences will be more critical in the social and emotional development of children than they have ever been before.
We look forward to you joining us for another season full of Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace...

Tuition Insurance!
We have received more questions about this policy than we have in years past. Our understanding is that this policy will protect your family in the event that your child or a member of your family were to get sick. Given these uncertain times, we encourage our families to consider this additional layer of financial protection.
BDC is pleased to partner with Travmark to offer families cancellation insurance protection. Policies are purchased and serviced directly through Travmark. Travmark partners with us in supporting camper scholarships. Add affordable peace of mind while juggling busy summer schedules and support BDC's mission to make camp a possibility for as many children as possible! Should your plans change after the May 1st cancellation deadline at BDC, a portion of your tuition may be refundable if you have camper tuition insurance which you can purchase HERE.
