Despite the uncertainty that has loomed over us for the past year, FACCNE has remained committed to our network. Since the beginning of the year, more than 700 professionals have attended our events and our LinkedIn community has added 200 followers based in New England, but also in the US and France.

May Day Event for Young Professionals
April 30, 2021 @ 7pm EST

The GABC (German-American Business Council of Boston) and the BABCNE (British-American Business Council of New England) jointly invite you for a virtual event on April 30 at 07:00 PM (EST). Together with SWISSNEX, SACC-NE (Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New England), FACCNE and WorldBoston we will connect the organizing members of the European Young Professional groups for the first time.

After a quick introduction to get in touch with everyone, the Zoom meeting will be split into three random Breakout Groups. In each we plan to take some 15 minutes to talk about the following topics:

Memes That Made my MayDay: Share your screen and show one image that you found hillarious (no politics, please!).
MayDay Makers Fest: Show your pet project made in social isolation: Art piece, sourdough starter, fermented beverages, sprouts, etc.
Future YP Events: Think of future events and ideas for collaboration - we'll collect these in a shared google sheet.

International School of Boston (ISB) Bilingual Summer Camp

Boston/Cambridge, MA ranks #1 for top biopharma clusters in the U.S.
"The region is second in patents (9,099) and VC ($10.113 billion in 2019 and 2020)—though Massachusetts finished 2020 with a record-high $5.8 billion, according to a report released March 4 by the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio). Winning the state’s largest VC award was Boston-based Atea Pharmaceuticals, which garnered $215 million in Series D financing in May and is partnering with Roche to develop COVID-19 antiviral candidate AT-527. Boston/Cambridge ranked lowest in jobs (fourth with 115,942, according to JLL), though MassBio recorded 79,972 statewide jobs in 2019)."
