Honoring all DEC staff for National Telecommunicators Week
We will celebrate all DEC employees during National Telecommunicators Week, April 11-17, with food, themed dress days, prizes, games and more. New this year will be a bonus prize drawing for a gift basket. Employees will receive a raffle ticket for it on Monday, and the drawing will be on Saturday.

City's FY22 budget in Council work sessions before May 31 deadline

In early March, Mayor Stoney presented the proposed FY22 budget to Richmond City Council. It is a balanced $770.3 million proposal that includes utility rate increases and "protects the work we've started to make our city more equitable," Mayor Stoney said. It is in Council work sessions and public hearings in April, and it must be adopted by the May 31 deadline.



36th BDA graduation rescheduled for April 9

Graduation for the 36th BDA was moved from March 26 to April 9. We wish the students good luck as they complete their training.
