less bound by your mind chatter,
less taunted and ridiculed by your gremlins.

It's been a rough go...

There is nothing like feeling the sensation of lightness after a heavy, dense storm.

This too shall pass.....

I always feel after you emerge from darkness, from confusion, from sadness, from uncertainty, that asking the question, what was my takeaway, what did I learn/gain is how you grow, how you proceed with personal power, acknowledging what you gleaned from the situation, acknowledging how much better you feel after some sort of information was brought to light.

Does this resonate? If it does, write down your truths where you are standing at this point. Note what was heavy, what felt most difficult, what felt so insurmountable you thought it might never leave...but it did.

And it is the place you are standing in now that you must move forward from.
Meaning, the past is the past, and what you learned, what you now know, is your new starting point.

The awesome, exciting, awaiting energy of a fresh, new, light-filled dawn. Everyone's birthright. Everyone's possibility.

Nutritional Lithium
(Low dose lithium)

Lithium is found throughout our atmosphere and on our earth. It is also found in the human body, including the brain. Dr. James M. Greenblatt, chief medical officer of Walden Behavioral Center, Waltham, MA, has authored a book titled “A Cinderella Story” that discusses the benefits of low dose lithium orotate, not to be confused with lithium carbonate, the lithium used in the past with some pretty problematic side effects. 
In contrast, low dose (“micro dosing”) lithium orotate is a safe, extremely well-tolerated and effective alternative for people, young and old, suffering with anxiety, memory problems, and other mood disorders. It has also been found to be neuroprotective and shows great promise in treating Alzheimers disease and cognitive decline as well.
Low lithium levels in drinking water have been associated with significant differences regarding rates of psychiatric illness. As a matter of fact, Japan is known for adding nutritional lithium to their drinking water to reduce suicide and there are quite a few scientists who believe it should be added to our tap water as well due to the variety of studies done on this subject. 

Lithium orotate consists of orotic acid, which is a compound found naturally in the body as well as in foods, which is why it is called nutritional lithium. It is safe, effective and inexpensive and does not require a prescription. Doses ranges from
1 mg capsules to 5 mg capsules. The brand I recommend is by Pure Formulas. This brand also contains NAC and Viamin C for added mood stability benefits.

Acai Bowl

One packet of Acai
1 Tbsp. Almond Butter
1 Banana
1 pitted Date
1/2 cup Oat Milk

Put all ingredients in a blender and then add Chia Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Coconut Flakes and/or Granola as a topping.
YUM.

Feel Better with a Good Workout

Summer is soon. Often people associate summer with these “perfect bodies” that they strive for. Yet so many people don’t take action. One reason for this is simply not wanting to put in the work or effort to do so. But the other is not knowing where to begin. Any type of workout should be in the range of about 30 minutes to 1:30 max. You can spend time lifting, doing HIIT workouts, running, sprint intervals, cycling, or hiking. I do not believe that you should think about the “timing” of your workout as much as how you feel during it. If you feel like you’ve hit the end of your workout, then stop. But if you have a little more oomph in you, keep going. Working out is a tool to help you feel better. So that’s the end goal: You should feel good by the end of the training of your choice.

Put on some good music or your favorite podcast and enjoy getting in shape for the season!
