bless us all, watch over us and protect us on our journey,
open us from the darkness into the light of peace and hope

APRIL FEATURED RETREAT . . .
The Associates Retreat is open to everyone!
April 16-17, 2021
Nurturing Hope: Practices for Our Times
Friday, April 16, 6:30 - 8:00 pm Eastern Time
Saturday, April 17 10:30 am - 4:30 pm Eastern Time
(breaks and reflection will be scattered througout the day)
Nurturing Hope: Practices for Our Times, created and facilitated by Gillian Ahlgren, offers an opportunity to consider insights from visionaries of the past, to reflect on the inner dynamics of personal and communal transformation; and to re-connect with others seeking wisdom, inspiration, and creative energy in these challenging times. Reflective time will help us to see what Teilhard de Chardin called “the slow work of God” in us, as individuals and as communities, to ask questions that will guide us toward greater creativity, and to be instruments and ambassadors of hope, not because we believe in what seems impossible, but because we do what needs to be done.
Donations of $25 are welcome but not required.

A Last word from Anne Reed:
Adieu
What a lovely word, ‘adieu’. Some days sentiment can be spoken better in other languages. During the month of April, I will be taking vacation in preparation for my retirement in May. After almost 5 years at TSC and over 40 years in the workplace, it is delightful to imagine how the
days may unfold without work-a-day cares. And so I bid you ‘adieu’, because chances are good my leisure time will involve spending time in retreat on the campus of the Community of the Transfiguration. And the world is small, and our paths will cross, and we will share greetings
once again. Kate Bower, who is taking over my responsibilities, is enthusiastic and is already adding bits of grace to TSC. I look forward to the reopening of the Center, and watching it and retreat participants bloom again.
