National Child Abuse Prevention Month holds a special place in our hearts here at Atlantic Area CASA, Inc. As CASA volunteers, one of our main goals is to speak out for the abused and neglected children and teens that have been placed in foster care. Because Although, this month is an opportunity to make others aware of the unfortunate issues that affects children and teens everyday , you too can use your voice to speak out! CASA volunteers are not the only ones who can use their voice to prevent child abuse; anyone can. No voice is too small to speak up and as a community, we can prevent child abuse from increasing, one voice at a time.
