Bus Driver Shortage

Districts across the country continue to experience a severe shortage of bus drivers, and WCS is among them. The driver shortage was already straining school transportation departments before the pandemic, and the situation worsened in the last 2 years.

WCS continues to seek out new full-time and substitute bus drivers.

  • WCS provides all required on-site paid training.
  • Flexible training schedules available.
  • Many of our current full-time drivers started as substitutes in the District.
  • We provide competitive wages and benefits for full-time employees.

If you or someone you know has a clean driving record and is interested in being a driver, please reach out to the Transportation Department at (937)382-1641 or (937) 382-2357.
