On March 4, the Foundation signed the $13.1 million contract with IHCDA, signaling the official agreement initiating our role in implementing the legal services portion of the Emergency Rental Assistance 2 (ERA2) federal program. With board and staff support, we are looking forward to expanding civil legal services, increasing access to legal information and resources, standardizing data location, and developing a marketing and outreach strategy. This will involve dozens of new legal aid attorneys and non-attorney legal navigators along with hundreds of housing information legal kiosks deployed around the state. I will keep you posted as we implement this exciting new initiative.
