John D. Morgan holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BFA in Studio Art from The University of West Virginia. He is the recipient of two NEA grants and his work is held in various museum, corporate, and private collections. He had a one-man show at The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

ROCKBRIDGE HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Saturday, April 2, 2:30 PM: stroll into the past on an interactive walking tour led by the Rockbridge Historical Society.
Free and welcome to all ages, the 90-minute circuit through downtown Lexington begins at the RHS Museum (101 E. Washington Street), with a range of related ‘pop-up displays’ spotlighting local women’s histories.

Kids Fishing Day at Natural Bridge State Park

Calling all kids 12 and younger to come fish for rainbow trout along the Cedar Creek Trail at Natural Bridge State Park!
Is this your first time fishing and not sure how to do it? That's okay since will have rangers and volunteers along the creek to teach you how to throw a line in and catch a fish. The park will also offer games, fishing crafts, and food. Two lucky children will win a prize if they're able to catch the only two Golden Trout in the creek.

Easter Egg Hunt

Come join us for a fun afternoon of Easter Egg hunting, wine drinking, food and music. Ages up to 5 will be allowed to start several minutes prior to children aged 6 to 12. 5 and under may be accompanied by an adult. Candy filled eggs will be hidden within our marked boundaries. Wine coupons for parents over 21 will be hidden in some eggs. Adults must be accompanied by a child to participate. Wine will be available by the glass or bottle for observers over 21.

Summer Camp Registration is Open
Led by Boxerwood educator Caroline Coons, in cahoots with colleague Jess Sullivan, the camps resume a tradition of outdoor learning, play, and fun on June 6-10, June 13-17, and August 8-12.
