Barber Gives Free Hair Cuts to Kearney Center Clients
Many individuals experiencing homelessness struggle with low self-esteem.

A haircut can help build the confidence needed for clients to continue through the housing process.

Thank you to the barber from World Class Academy of Beauty for providing free haircuts to our male clients last week.

A unique 10-week program designed to help college students develop professionally while making an impact in their local community.

Students will be able to gain experience in the following areas based on their interests and The Kearney Center’s needs:

Kearney on the Go!
Kearney on the Go! is The Kearney Center's new mobile outreach program. Services include survival and hygiene kit distribution, shelter intakes, and referrals to local resources for health, income, housing, and more.

Spring Giving
Dear Friend,

Through our community's generosity and support, we've been able to do the following in 2022:

  • Offer classes to clients that promote self-sufficiency and sustainability
  • Obtain grants that will offer program support to CESC Health Services and our new outreach program
  • Welcome new team members across departments to fill critical roles in daily operations and administration

The Kearney Center is 11 Weeks COVID Free!
The Kearney Center has had zero positive Covid-19 cases since January 27th, 2022.

CESC Health Services continues to provide vaccinations to clients. Currently, 68% of our clients are vaccinated.

Case Management Supervisor
Tranesia's leadership has impressed our team since day one.

As Case Management Supervisor, she established a full team of new case managers who work diligently to find clients affordable housing. The case management team is also responsible for managing documentation and data to support our grant requirements.

Tranesia has done an exceptional job leading her team. Her dedication to helping clients gain and sustain stable housing is admirable. We could not be more grateful for her!
