Greeting everyone,


As the days are getting longer and warmer, we are busy preparing for lots of fun activies that will high-light your businesses and the community. There have been lots of action happening on the Nautical Mile as the season is getting primed for summer. Check out Sparkle on Stage for all the events they are hosting and all the new resturants that are opening. Taco Tuesdays will be opening at their new location on April 28th!


The Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Monday May 29th. We hope you will be able to come out and honor our Veterans. More information will be sent out shortly.



On Tuesday April 4th the Chamber held a breakfast General Meeting that was very well attended. Thank you to Mayor Robert Kennedy and Jorge Martinez for giving us an update on the state of Freeport. Thank you to our sponsors who supplied us with breakfast,- Undercut Junk Removal & This 4 You Buy Sell! Lots of great energy and connections were made.


Thank you to Hungerford and Clark Funeral Home for your generous donation to our scholarship fund. We have the best members!


We held a fabulous Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for First Manufaturing Co. Inc. Whet Blu. They have a gorgous store on 389 West Sunrise Hwy. A great selection of leather goods, varsity jackets and accessories. Check them out on our website and go visit them.


You won't want to miss our next luncheon, scheduled for May 9th. We have Jackie Valentina public figure and author of the book: From Fired to Freedom An invitation will be sent out shortly. A flyer is attached below to watch her show.


Our annual Freeport Nautical Mile Festival is scheduled for June 3rd. If you would like to be a vendor, our chamber members are recieving a 50% discout to participate. Please call 516-377-2311 for more information.


The Arts Council at Freeport is Hosting their 2023 Arty Party Brunch on Sunday, May 7th. If you would like to attend or donate to this event, please see the flyer below for more information. They are also our featured member of the month.



For anyone who this is near and dear to their hearts,

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Laughter Saves Lives (LSL) and will be held on Thursday, April 27th at The Loft in Bellmore! Each ticket is $50 which includes the comedy show & light snacks, and there will be a cash bar & raffles throughout the night. Doors will open at 7pm and the laughter begins at 8pm! My wife and Director Jennifer Jerome is running Operation hunger smash. We are collecting non-perishables for Veterans. Our country wouldn’t be here today as we know it if wasn’t for the sacrifices volunteers have made and we hold them close to our hearts. We will be at Gala Fresh foods in Baldwin, Saturday


April 29th form 10am-4pm. Please come support us. We are also helping with a clam bake for disabled veterans that will be held at Waterfront park on July 30th 1 pm- 5 pm (rain date August 6). Please reach out for more details.
