Looking backwards and reflecting…What an awesome month March was for MSE Detroit. We are filled with gratitude for the overwhelming successful program with Frank Venegas, Jr. at the Ideal Group. Frank shared his sales and marketing technology strategy that has made his company the global success that it is. His two sales and marketing gurus are on the cutting edge with innovation and shared many ideas with the group. The attendees also received a tour of his plant and were introduced to many of his employees that have grown through the years with Ideal. These employees tell the story in their eyes and beam with pride around Frank. Frank is a visionary man that has successful corporations based on the theory that you build by developing the strengths of the people you hire. Loyalty starts at the top. Thank you Frank for sharing your time with us, but especially for all you have done.

The March workshop “Belief & Integrity are Your Sales Superpowers” presented by Jeff Bajorek was filled with usable tips for being the best sales person you can be and by innovative approaches with current customers. If you missed this program, you missed a good one. Hopefully we will have Jeff back for an encore. Thank you, Jeff.

Our Meet & Greet was attended by many new faces and great conversations. Mark your calendar for this Thursday, April 13th for our next get together at Shield's Pizza restaurant. "The 5 Second Rule"

My wife Dawn recently found Mel Robbins after attending The Ripple Effect. (I think she was all pumped up after attending my Ripple Effect event.)

Anyway, she found her podcast, The Mel Robbins Podcast and shared Mel with me.

I checked her out and immediately liked her for being down to earth and not stuffy. A lot of the professional development writers to me are very “know-it-ally” and blah. Mel Robbins is different.

Not too long ago, Mel Robbins was in a very dark place and at the end of her rope; she couldn’t get out of bed due to depression and feeling like a failure.

Then one night, she had a Vision and an inspiration (That right there reminded me of how The Ripple Effect came to be… a vision followed by inspiration) and that is how 5-4-3-2-1 came to be.

Now, years later she’s helped millions of people and changed the world. She’s on all socials. I hope that she can help you.
