Premiers & Provincials
Almost at the finish line! With only 13U & 14U VA Provincials remaining, the busy 2023 club season is coming to an end. Congratulations to all the Premiers and Provincials medalists. A big congratulation to our All-Stars winners too!

This club season broke the records for number of team registrations. We had 28% increase in registrations compared to last year. Despite its challenges, however, we really enjoyed providing the platform for such a big number of athletes to participate in the sport they love. We hope they and their parents enjoyed the events too.

Volleyball Alberta requires Players, Coaches, Referees, and Club Staff to become members prior to registering and participating in any Volleyball Alberta or affiliated Club program and event.

Are you going from indoor to beach? If so, please make sure to add the Beach Membership Type to your existing Sportlomo Account > Volleyball Alberta Membership > Member ID > upgrade/add category.

Volleyball Alberta's event and program registrations have membership prerequisites. To sign up & register or to upgrade/add the beach membership type to your existing Volleyball Alberta Membership > Member ID, please follow the instructions in this guide:

Already paid fees will discount from indoor to beach; but, only if upgrading/adding the new category to your existing active Sportlomo member ID. Make sure to follow the instructions in the guide to avoid overpayments.
Only 5 days to this big event! Volleyball athletes from across the country, including girls and boys age groups, 14U to 18U, hit the courts to battle for national glory.

VC has introduced a new, nine-day National Championship event in 2023, hosted in Calgary, Alberta. 16U girls and both 17U and 18U age groups play across three separate tournaments at the Olympic Oval and the University of Calgary.

The 14U Nationals will be hosted in Ottawa, Halifax, and Winnipeg, with 15U and 16U boys heading back to Edmonton. Regina will host the 15U girls on the final weekend of Nationals.

2023 ParaVolley Pan America Zone Championships
Edmonton is ready to welcome the 2023 PVPA Zonal Championships. This is the Olympic 2024 Qualifier and a great opportunity to watch sitting volleyball in person, in just a few weeks (May 9-13)! Your support would mean the world to both the Canada Men's & Women's teams! Purchase your tickets HERE by May 1st.

The tournament will require a large number of volunteers. If you or your team are interested in volunteering please contact:

Kim Bolin at [email protected]
Location: Okotoks & Black Diamond

Age Group: 15U & 16U (Athletes born Sept. 1, 2006 - Dec. 31, 2007)
