The Holy One Beyond All Names

Is Love

We are Love

"Love is the physical structure of the universe"

It is Love alone that breathes through all and invites us to live justly in hope and beauty.

So this Earth month may Love infuse, renew, and nourish us through Earth's wonders to be of service and justice with and for Earth and one another.

Faithful Advocacy Action

Did you know there are millions of miles of gas pipelines around the US? And they have little oversight for regular inspections. Methane, a large contributor to climate change comes from leaks. Infrastructure is aging and can cause health risks and accidents. YOU can sign our petition to encourage the Federal Transportation Agency to finish rule making to address leaks, climate and health and safety concerns. A simple action to make a big difference. Sign the PHMSA petition at https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/help-us-plug-dangerous-pipeline-leaks/ and pass it forward. Gracias!!

IPL recently sponsored an evening on the Farm Bill and action for the OFF Act. Here is the recording https://www.nm-ipl.org/watch-our-sacred-lands-farms-food-and-fairness/.

Contact Ann Mccartney asims98891@aol.com for information on how to contact Senator Lujan to advocate for this important piece in the farm bill.

Action Week: April 19 - 28, 2024

The theme of IPL’s 2024 Faith Climate Action Week is “Common Ground: Cultivating Connections between our Faith, our Food, and our Climate.” We’ll examine our responsibility to use agricultural practices that safeguard our Sacred Earth and how our faiths call us to respond with just solutions for all. Save the date, April 19-28. Join us to engage your congregation and learn more at www.faithclimateactionweek.org. Let us know if you are planning something and feel free to put it on the IPL national map!

We are also encouraging faith communities to plan screenings of the movie Common Ground. Some videos will be available to order. Here is the trailer.
