Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items.

Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox on May 11th, 2024, and your letter carrier will do the rest.

Donation Tips

·Sort through your donations before you put them out for your mail carrier; do not donate open, damaged, or expired food items.

·Do not donate frozen foods or perishable items.

How do we turn food into clothing?

All StyleXchange sales are reinvested into Valley Outreach programs. When we are able to sell items we have in abundance, we can use funds to buy food for our food shelf, like culturally relevant foods and other items to meet the needs of our clients.

Welcome, Shane! Shane is our new Case Manager. You may recognize Shane, as he served as our Housing Navigator a few years ago, and we are thrilled he is back on the Valley Outreach team!

In addition to Shane having Valley Outreach experience first as a volunteer, then a Housing Navigator, he brings with him years of experience working in human services. He has worked with special education students and families in school-based services, as well as in homelessness outreach.

Shane is high energy and welcoming, has a strong passion for helping people, and a demonstrated commitment to the Valley Outreach mission. We are excited to have you back, Shane!
